Staff Selection Commission is all set to conduct SSC MTS Tier 1 Exam from 1st July 2021 to 20 July 2021. It is usually observed that candidates tend to panic when an exam is just about to come. It is solely because of the lack of practice. Set Daily Target: Set your target of covering a certain number of topics in a day. Don’t jam-pack your schedule with so many topics that you end giving it up the next day. Set an achievable target and stick to it.

Check Previous year Papers: This would help you immensely in knowing how the questions are framed and what all topics are repeated quite frequently. Mark or Make a list of those important topics/questions to go through them again.

Revise Important Topics:  Considering the level of competition, make sure you are ready with all the topics that are important or have been repeated in previous years. Time Management: There is no sectional time limit and no sectional cut off, so you can spend more time in areas you are proficient in. Also, keep track of time. You’ll have 90 minutes to finish the exam, so, don’t spend too much time on one question. Keep a fine balance of both speed and accuracy.

Avoid Guesswork: In an attempt to maximize the score, don’t forget that there is negative marking and you might end up losing precious marks. Hence, avoid guesswork.

Read Questions Carefully: Don’t just leave the question just by looking at it. Even the longer ones can be solved easily only if you read it properly.

Practice Online: As the nature of exam is computer-based, your preparation & practice both has to be done accordingly so as to get comfortable with the online system. Practicing in a time-bound manner would give you the actual exam experience and help you solve questions in a given time frame.

Stay Away from Negative Thoughts: Stay as calm as possible because stressing about – “What will happen?” “What’s going to come?” “What if the exam is tough?” “What if I don’t clear?” – won’t help you either. Remember that if Questions are set at a higher difficulty level, it’ll be tough for all, not just for you. Have faith in your preparation. The more you practice, the more confident you’ll be during the exam.

Don’t Be Sleep Deprived: The fear and anxiety generally worsen if you are sleep deprived. Make sure you get proper sleep to enhance your performance on the D-Day.

Exam Day Checklist: To avoid the last-minute rush, download your Admit Card in advance. Keep you Call letters, Photograph, Photo ID proof ready well before the exam.
