While doing so, candidates should also account for the fact that all topics do not take the same amount of time for preparation. How to Prepare for CAT in the First Month

Get a reality check done with a mock test, list your strengths and weaknesses. Evaluate your level of preparation to understand how much more effort should be put in.
Understand CAT pattern and be familiar with the structure of the exam.
Go through all the topics in the syllabus of CAT, as it is important to cover all the sections of the syllabus.
Grab suitable study materials such as books, sample papers, previous papers and more.
Devoted the first month to clarifying the basics.
Work on their vocabulary by reading newspapers on a regular basis, as it is another way of working on verbal skills.

How to Prepare for CAT in the Second Month

Take as many mock tests as possible in the second month of the preparation phase. It is a great way to revise whatever has been learnt so far.
Rework on your priorities for the number of hours and topics left for CAT 2022.
Distribute time equally for all the 3 sections of the CAT exam.
Don’t learn new topics because starting a new topic will be time-consuming. Practice the topics prepared previously.

How to Prepare for CAT in the Third Month

Fix the number of hours and try to study for at least six hours without any distraction. Spend at least 3 hours in taking the mock test and then analyse the mock test.

Quantitative Analysis (QA) – Without any second thoughts, QA is the hardest section to crack in a CAT Exam. If you want your desired percentile know this-
Practice Quantitative Analysis! The aspirant should have a significant command over the Logics and theoretical knowledge of the topics in this section. This section is tough and lengthy in comparison to VARC and DILR.
