The highly esteemed Director-General of the WHO, Dr. Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus, will inaugurate this momentous event. The opening ceremony will also witness the presence of Health Minister Shri Mansukh Mandaviya and Ayush Minister Shri Sarbananda Sonowal.

In 2022, the World Health Organization (WHO) joined forces with the Government of India to establish a groundbreaking initiative known as the Global Centre for Traditional Medicine (WHO-GCTM).
