The Intelligence Bureau ( Ministry of Home Affairs ) has invited applications for IB ACIO Recruitment Exam 2017. ACIO : Assistant Central Intelligence Officer. It is a Grade – II, Group – C ( Non-gazetted, Non-ministerial ), executive post with the Intelligence Bureau.

Registrations ( Application Process ) Close : 2 September, 2017

Date of Tier-I  Examination : 15 October, 2017

Date of Tier-II Examination :  7 January, 2018

The selection process consists of the following three stages:-

IB ACIO Tier-I Exam : Paper Pattern ( Objective Type )

IB ACIO Recruitment Exam 2017 : Pay-scale

The payscale is as follows:-

Rs. 9300-34800 + Grade Pay Rs.4200 (PB-2) + admissible Central Government Allowances

[Under revision as per the recommendations of 7th C.P.C.]

IB ACIO Recruitment Exam 2017 : Training & Postings

  1. Phase- I   Training ( Shivpuri, MP)  : This is the most rigorous phase and involves both physical and theoretical training. Similar to training of defense cadets.
  2. Phase- II  Training ( Delhi ) : This phase does not involve any physical training. Only theoretical classes are involved. On the successful completion of this stage, each ACIO is allotted a State/District and is then sent to that particular District IB Office for the next phase.
  3. Phase- III Training ( On the job training ) : Here, one can expect to learn to work under the guidance of a senior (mentor).
