Leveraging its extensive expertise in utilizing unmanned platforms, the Indian Air Force (IAF) is collaborating with the Drone Federation of India to jointly organize ‘Bharat Drone Shakti 2023.’ This event is scheduled for the 25th and 26th of September 2023 and will take place at the IAF’s Hindan airbase in Ghaziabad. During this event, the Indian drone industry will showcase live aerial demonstrations, highlighting its capabilities.

About Bharat Drone Shakti 2023

‘Bharat Drone Shakti 2023’ promises to showcase the full potential of the Indian drone industry with an impressive lineup of over 50+ live aerial demonstrations.

These demonstrations will encompass a wide range of drone applications, including survey drones, agriculture drones, fire suppression drones, tactical surveillance drones, heavy-lift logistics drones, loitering munition systems, drone swarms, and counter-drone solutions.
The event will also feature participation from more than 75 drone start-ups and corporate entities.
Anticipated to draw approximately 5,000 attendees, the event will welcome representatives from various sectors, including central government, state departments, public and private industries, armed forces, paramilitary forces, delegates from friendly nations, academics, students, and drone enthusiasts.

Importantly, ‘Bharat Drone Shakti 2023’ aligns with India’s commitment to establish itself as a global drone hub by 2030.
