NHAI Launches ‘Rajmargyatra’ a Unified Mobile Application for National Highway Users

The National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) has taken a big step to enhance the highway user experience by introducing ‘Rajmargyatra,’ a unified mobile application designed for citizens. This user-friendly app can be downloaded from both Google Play Store and iOS App Store, providing travelers with extensive information about Indian National Highways and an effective system to address complaints. The app is currently accessible in both Hindi and English languages, making it more convenient for users.

Key Features of the ‘Rajmargyatra App’

The ‘Rajmargyatra’ app provides comprehensive information for National Highway users, making it a one-stop repository of essential details.

• Users can get real-time weather updates, timely notifications, and access information about nearby toll plazas, petrol pumps, hospitals, hotels, and other important services to ensure a smooth and safe journey on National Highways.
• One of the key features of the app is its hassle-free complaint redressal system.
• Users can easily report any highway-related issues, attaching geo-tagged videos or photos for better understanding.
• The complaints will be handled promptly, with escalations to higher authorities if needed. Users can track the status of their grievances for complete transparency.
• The app also offers seamless FASTag services by integrating with various bank portals. This allows users to recharge their FASTags, avail monthly passes, and access other FASTag-related banking services, all within a single platform.
• To promote responsible and safe driving behavior, the app provides over-speeding notifications and voice assistance. These features encourage users to drive responsibly and follow traffic rules.

With these improvements, ‘Rajmargyatra’ aims to create a seamless and user-friendly experience for highway users, making their journey on Indian National Highways safer and more enjoyable.

NHAI is an autonomous body under the Ministry of Road Transport and Highways, Government of India.

• It was constituted in 1988 under the National Highways Authority of India Act, 1988.
