One District One Product ‘ODOP Wall’ launched

The collaboration between One District One Product (ODOP) and Deendayal Antyodaya Yojna – National Rural Livelihoods Mission (DAY-NRLM) has resulted in the launch of the ‘ODOP Wall’.

This initiative was inaugurated by Shri Charanjit Singh, Additional Secretary of Rural Livelihoods at the Ministry of Rural Development, Government of India.

The ‘ODOP Wall’ is a significant step towards realizing Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s vision of showcasing the unique crafts of India to the world.

The One District One Product (ODOP) program, led by the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) under the Ministry of Commerce & Industry, is designed to bring to life the Prime Minister‘s vision of self-reliance for both the nation and its citizens.

Aim of ODOP Program

ODOP is aligned with the broader Make in India and Skill India initiatives, focusing on empowering local artisans, entrepreneurs, and craftsmen to transform their traditional skills into sustainable and viable businesses.
