Post-Wise Vacancies Announced For Punjab PSC JE Civil 2021

Punjab Public Service Commission has announced several vacancies in many government departments for the post of Junior Engineer. Nationality-related Punjab PSC JE Civil Eligibility Criteria 

Candidates applying for the post of Punjab PSC Junior Engineer Civil need to be citizens of India.  Other persons who can also apply are listed below.

• Citizens of Nepal
• Subjects of Bhutan
• Tibetan refugee who came  to India and had been living in India since 01-01-1962
• Person of Indian origin who migrated to India to live here permanently after coming from any of the following places:

• Burma
• Ethiopia
• Kenya
• Malawi
• Pakistan
• Sri Lanka
• Uganda
• United Republic of Tanzania
• Vietnam
• Zaire
• Zambia

Age-related Punjab PSC JE Civil Eligibility Criteria

All departments that have announced vacancies for JE Civil have also provided their own age-related criteria for the candidates applying for the announced vacancies in their department. 

Department Of Rural Development And Panchayat

Persons applying for the post of Junior Engineer in the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 37 years of age as of 01/01/2021. 

Department Of Water Resource

• Applicants should be between 18 years of age and 37 years of age as on 01.01.2021
• The Upper age limit can be moved up to 42 years for Backwards Classes of Punjab and Scheduled Castes. 
• In the case of Punjab Government and its Board/Corporation/Commission and Authorities employees, all States/ Central Government employees the upper age limit can be relaxed up to 45 years.
• Ex-servicemen who hold a Domicile of Punjab will be allowed to deduct the period of his service in the Armed Forces of Union from his actual age. If the figure that remains is not more than the maximum age limit for direct appointment to such a vacancy in the Service Rules concerned by more than three years, he will be considered to have satisfied the age limit condition.
• For Divorcees, Widows, and some other Categories of Women, the upper age limit can be relaxed to 42 years.
• For Persons with Disability of Punjab upper age limit is relaxable up to 47 years of age.

Water Resources Management And Development Corporation

• Applicants should not be less than 18 years of age and not more than 37 years of age as of 01.01.2021. 
• In the case of Scheduled Castes and Backward Classes of Punjab, the maximum age could be relaxed to 42 years of age. 
• In the case of Punjab Govt. and its Board/Corporation/Commission and Authorities employees, all States/Central Government employees, the maximum age limit could be relaxed to 45 years of age.
• Ex-servicemen who possess the domicile of Punjab will be allowed the deduction of the period of his service in the Armed Forces of the Union from his actual age.  If the resulting figure is not more than three years more than the maximum age set for direct appointment to such a vacancy in the Service Rules concerned, he will be considered to have fulfilled the age limit criteria.

Educational Qualification-Related Punjab PSC JE Civil Eligibility Criteria 

All departments who have announced vacancies for JE Civil have also provided their own Educational Qualification-related criteria for the candidates applying for the announced vacancies in their department.

Department Of Rural Development And Panchayat

• Part of the essential qualification for the post of JE Civil with the Department of Rural Development and Panchayat is that candidate must hold a Diploma in Civil Engineering of the State Board of Technical Education or its equivalent or any other equivalent/higher qualification which the government recognizes.
• The applicant must know Punjabi, which is equal to a student who has completed 10^th standard or Matric. 
• The applicant needs to have acquired the requisite experience/ qualification on or before 30-04-2021.

Department Of Water Resource

• The applicant must have a 3 (three)  years Diploma of Junior Engineer in Civil Engineering of Technical Education Board of any state or any recognized Institution or University.
• Applicants with higher educational qualifications, such as a graduation degree or master’s degree in engineering, are also eligible. Still, they must also have the mandatory qualification of Civil Engineering diploma. 
• Should have proficiency in Punjabi of the standard of Matric.
• Applicants who are a ward of Defence Service Personnel, who is a bonafide resident of Punjab State, get appointed through direct appointment, will have to clear pass an examination of Punjabi Language of the standard of Matriculation/ clear a test held by the Language Wing of the Department of Education of Punjab Government within two (2) years from appointment date. 
• A candidate who is a discharged War Hero from military/defence due to disability suffered by him and his widow or dependent family member is appointed based on instructions issued in this regard by the Government. These candidates do not need to have the mandatory knowledge of Punjabi of Matric level. 
• All the requisite experience/ qualification must be possessed by the applicants on or prior to 27-03-2021.

Water Resources Management And Development Corporation

• Candidates applying for Junior Engineers (Civil) in the Water Resource Management and Development Corporation need to have a three (3) year Civil Engineering diploma of an institution/ university/ Board that is recognized. 
• The candidate must know Punjabi equivalent to that of Matric level. 
• Applicants who are the ward of Defence Service Personnel, who is a bonafide resident of Punjab State, get appointed through direct appointment, will have to clear pass an examination of Punjabi Language of the standard of Matriculation/ clear a test held by the Language Wing of the Department of Education of Punjab Government within two (2) years from appointment date. 
• A candidate who is a discharged War Hero military/ defence due to disability suffered by him and his widow or dependent family member is appointed based on instructions issued by the Government. These candidates do not need to have the mandatory knowledge of Punjabi of Matric level.

• Candidates applying for the Junior Engineers (Civil) post in the Department of Water Supply and Sanitation must possess a Civil Engineering diploma or equivalent qualification or higher qualification of an institution or university that is recognized or possess an equivalent or even higher qualification that is Government recognized.
• The applicant must have attained the specified qualifications on or prior to 31-12-2020.
