Due to the announcement of General Elections (Legislative Assembly) in five
States, the Commission has decided to postpone the Selection Post Examinations,
(Phase-IX), 2021 scheduled from 02.02.2022 to 10.02.2022 for the candidates who
have been allotted Examination Centres in the States of Uttar Pradesh, Uttarakhand
and Punjab. Fresh dates of examination for the affected candidates will be
announced in due course.

SSC Selection Posts: Selection Process 2021
The two stages of the selection process are:
- CBT (Computer-Based Test)
- Document Verification
The selection is made through a written examination and Document Verification. Candidates who clear the written examination are called for document verification.
The minimum marks a candidate requires to secure to qualify for the written examination are:

The online examination is held in the Regional/ Sub- Regional (Headquarters)/Centres/Cities. Regional Offices will ask for the hard copies of the online applications submitted along with the supporting documents or certificates from candidates who qualify for the Computer-Based Exam in the following ratio in accordance with the vacancies of a particular category of posts.
1. In the ratio of 1: 20, for up to five vacancies for any category of posts.
2. In the ratio of 1: 10, for more than five vacancies for any category of posts, subject to a minimum of 100.
Regional Office will call the required no. of candidates (in the ratio of 1:10) for the process of Document Verification for a particular category of posts subject to the availability of eligible candidates.

The SSC Selection posts Phase IX paper is divided into four parts:

The examination pattern for the SSC Selection Post Phase IX is given below:

- The computer-based test will be an Objective Type Multiple Choice Questions test.
- The total No. of questions is 100.
- Each question carries two marks.
- Total Marks is 200 marks.
- Negative marking is applicable. 1/2 marks will be deducted for every wrong answer or multiple answers to one question.
- The duration of the examination is 1 hour (60 minutes) for regular candidates. For candidates eligible for scribes, the time duration of the examination is 80 minutes.

The Staff Selection Commission will release the SSC selection posts 2021 admit card for different regions 10 to 15 days before the examination. The admit cards will be released separately for Matriculation Level, Higher- Secondary Level, and the Graduation level. The candidates will be able to download the Admit cards from the official website of the commission.

The process to Download the SSC Selection Posts Admit Card:
Candidates should follow the below-given procedure to download their Admit cards:
Step 1: Visit the official website of the staff selection commission- www.ssc.nic.in
Step 2:Click on the Admit Card link
Step 3: Visit your regional site.
Step 4: Click on the Admit Card tab.
Step 5: Search for SSC Selection Post Admit Card 2021.
Step 6: Enter your login details, such as the registration number/ Roll number/ Name and DOB.
Step 7: Click on the submit button. The Admit Card will be displayed on your screen.
Step 8: Download the Admit card and save it to your system
Step 9: Take a printout of the Admit Card for future use.

Go through the following details for a hassle-free examination experience:
