This year, the Staff Selection Commission has increased SSC CGL 2024 vacancies by 110%, raising the total to 17,747 positions, compared to 8,415 last year. Applications rose by 36%, with 36.73 lakh candidates applying and 18.13 lakh attending the Tier 1 exam.

Last year, 16.16 lakh candidates appeared in CGL 2022 and 12.36 lakh in CGL 2023. This increase in vacancies may result in a slightly lower cut-off.

SSC CGL Tier 1 Cut off For AAO/ACO
The SSC CGL Tier 1 Cut-off is released annually for various posts, including JSO (Junior Statistical Officer) and AAO/ACO (Assistant Audit Officer/Assistant Accounts Officer). The Tier 2 Exam consists of:
- Paper 1: Common for all posts
- Paper 2: For JSO
- Paper 3: For AAO/ACO
However, since there are no AAO/ACO vacancies this year, Paper 3 will not be conducted, and no separate cut-off will be provided for these posts in the Tier 1 Exam.
