The Indian Coast Guard (ICG) conducts the recruitment examinations for the post of Navik (General Duty) annually. It is a national level examination, and the placements are done across the country. On 16th December 2022, ICG issued a notification for the recruitment of Navik (General Duty) under the Ministry of Defence. In all, there are 260 vacancies. The online application will start on 4th January 2022 and will continue till14th January 2022. The selection process includes several phases-a written test followed by a Physical Fitness Test (PFT) and Medical Examination. Minimum Passing Marks:

The candidates must secure the minimum passing marks to clear the paper. The minimum passing marks and the cut off marks are not the same. Minimum marks are to clear the paper, whereas the cut off is the qualifying marks a candidate has to attain to get shortlisted for the next stage of the selection process.
