SEBI imposed a Penalty on Aurobindo Pharma

Tax regulatory authority SEBI has imposed a fine of 22 cr INR on Aurobindo Pharma and its promoters.

As per SEBI Aurobindo Pharma have penalized insider trading norms. SEBI conducted an inside investigation into Trading scrip of Aurobindo Pharma.

INDIA and United States to combinedly conduct Exercise Tiger

India and the US have decided to hold their first-ever tri-service exercise which is codenamed as ‘Tiger.’

The event is planned to take place at Vishakhapatnam and Kakinada, Andhra Pradesh in the forthcoming November 2019.

The event was discussed and decide during the Final Planning Conference for India-US Tri-services Humanitarian Aid and Disaster Relief.

This will be the first time that India and the US will be participating in tri-military exercise.

Gandhi Solar Park inaugurated at UN Headquarters

PM Modi, along with several other world leaders inaugurated the Gandhi Solar park at the UN headquarters.

On the occasion, a commemorative stamp was issued by the UN as a remark to Mahatma Gandhi’s 150^th Birth anniversary.

This commemoration was to mark that Gandhiji did not belong to only India although he was born in India. Gandhiji stressed n the strength of Democracy all his life.

Chennai Police announces to Launch “Thozhi” wing

Thozhi or Friend is an initiative by Chennai Police to help the citizens in the POCSO cases.

It will comprise of women personnel to support and protect the victims of POCSO case and their parents and guide them through the legal procedure.

The State Government is also planning to set up Fast Track courts to exclusively handle the POCSO cases.

The Thozhi wing will be an All Women Police Station. It will comprise of Sub-Inspector and 2 head constables.

PMJAY to offer Teleconsultation Soon

The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojna health scheme is set to offer Teleconsultations to its patients soon.

This step is considered to be a vital one in the direction of increasing the reach of the scheme. The consultation will be provided by qualified medical officers.

This facility will for the cases that are referred from Sub health Centres and Primary Health Centres.

PMJAY was launched under Ayushman Bharat Scheme on 23 Sep 2018.
