What is CLAT Entrance Exam?

The Common Law Admission Test is a National Level Law exam conducted for admission into 21 National Law Universities across India. If you are a Law aspirant, then it is essential to crack the CLAT 2022 exam with a high score. Yes, candidates scoring more than the cut-off will be eligible to receive admission to their desired college. To succeed in this highly competitive exam, it is advised to enroll in CLAT Online Coaching. With the help of guidance, it is effortless to crack the exam on the first attempt. The Common-Law Admission Test is one of the highly competitive exams conducted by the 19 National Law Universities on a rotational basis every year to offer admissions for three years and five years Law programs. What are National Law Schools/Universities? +

What is AILET? +

National Law University, Delhi (NLU-D) does not consider CLAT. It has its own examination called AILET which has a similar examination pattern as CLAT.

What is the pattern for CLAT 2022/23? +

Mode of Exam: Offline Type of Exam: MCQ Duration: 2 hours Total Number of Questions: 150 Marks Obtained for Correct Answer: +1 Marks Deducted for Incorrect Answer: -0.25 Sections Logical Reasoning: 28-32 questions (20% of the paper) Legal Reasoning: 35-39 questions (25% of the Test Paper) GK/Current Affairs: 35-39 questions (25% of the Test Paper) Quant: 13-17 (10% of the Test Paper) English: 28-32 (20% of the Test Paper) Note: The exact number of questions in each section will be revealed on the day of the paper itself. The candidates have to prepare themselves accordingly.

What is the eligibility criteria for CLAT 2022/23? +

Students of any stream can sit after their 10+2 exam, provided that they have passed with a 55% aggregate. It is not necessary that the results have been declared at the time of sitting for CLAT. But in a situation where you are unable to pass the boards but have cleared CLAT, you will not be able to join a National Law University.
