Employees’ Provident Fund Organisation (EPFO, under Ministry of Labour & Employment, Government of India) in a recent circular has notified about the EPFO Assistant Recruitment 2019. A total of 280 vacancies have been announced for EPFO Assistant Section Officer. EPFO started the EPFO Online Application process from 30th May, 2019 to 25th June, 2019. EPFO Assistant Prelims exam was conducted on 31st July, 2019 while Mains is slated to be held on 7th November 2019. There will be two phase examination as mentioned in the circular: Phase I and Phase II.
Phase I – Preliminary Examination

Qualifying Marks: – Qualifying Marks in Phase-I (Preliminary Exam.) and Phase – II (Main Exam) will be decided as per discretion of EPFO. Descriptive paper will be completely online, i.e. the questions will be displayed on the screen and the candidates will have to type the answers using keyboard. Descriptive paper will be conducted online immediately after completion of online objective test of Phase-II Main Exam.
