The Central Government has appointed Indian Revenue Service officer Sanjay Kumar Mishra as interim director of the Enforcement Directorate for three months. He replaced Karnal Singh. He is a 1986 batch IRS Officer of the Income Tax cadre.
ED is part of the Department of Revenue, Ministry of Finance.
