China launched two satellites to test the space-based Internet of Things communications technology. The satellites, Xingyun-2 01 and 02, were launched by a Kuaizhou-1A (KZ-1A) carrier rocket from the Jiuquan Satellite Launch Centre in northwest China.
It is the ninth mission of the KZ-1A carrier rocket.

Former Sri Lanka skipper Kumar Sangakkara is set to serve his second term as the president of Marylebone Cricket Club (MCC). Sangakkara who is the first overseas president of Marylebone Cricket Club. He took charge of the club on October 1 last year.
