The Insurance Scheme announced under PMGKY Package for health workers who are fighting to contain COVID-19 has been extended for another three months till September. Scheme is funded through the NDRF, operated by Ministry of Health & Family Welfare.

The J&K government has approved Rs 5,136.40 crore district capex budget for FY 2020-21 with a huge 67 per cent hike. This is the first district capex budget of the union territory of Jammu and Kashmir approved by Lieutenant Governor Girish Chandra Murmu.
Previous year allocation was 3,079.54 crore.

Nestle India has received shareholders ‘approval to extend the tenure of its Chairman and Managing Director Suresh Narayanan by another five years’. Narayanan had joined Nestle India as MD on August 1, 2015, when the company was facing the Maggi crisis.

RBI panel set up in June 2019, recommended a population-based approach for fixing ATM charges. For transactions in centres with a population of over 1 million, the interchange fee would be increased to Rs 17 from Rs 15, for every financial transaction.
For every non-financial transaction fee will be Rs 7.
