XAT 2024 Notification – Latest Changes

5 new places where you can take the exam: Jorhat, Shillong, Tejpur, Rajkot, and Naharlagun. Also, XLRI made a few small changes to the XAT Exam in 2023.

  1. Mock Keyboard Testing: They added a 5-minute round where you do a mock keyboard test. This is in Part 2 of the exam.
  2. GK and Essay Writing: The General Knowledge (GK) and Essay Writing parts are in Part 3 of the exam.
  3. Essay Writing: You pick one topic out of three and write a short essay of 300 words.
  4. Question Format: Except for the essay part, the rest of the questions are Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs).
  5. Total Questions: There are 105 questions in the upcoming XAT Exam.
  6. Data Interpretation and Logical Reasoning (DM): The questions in this section increased from 21 to 22.
  7. Exam Duration: The total time for the XAT exam is now 210 minutes.
    • Part 1 takes 175 minutes.
    • Part 2, the Mock Keyboard Testing, takes 5 minutes.
