You take the exam on a computer, and it’s all multiple-choice questions (which means you pick the correct answer from a list). There are three different question papers for this exam.

Paper 1 – Mathematics:

  • There are 50 questions in this paper.
  • 10 of them are from 11th-grade math, and 40 are from 12th-grade math.
  • Each question is worth 2 marks.
  • You have 90 minutes to finish this paper.
  • There’s no penalty for wrong answers (no negative marking).

Paper 2 – Physics and Chemistry:

  • This paper has a total of 100 questions.
  • Half of them (50) are about physics, and the other half are about chemistry.
  • In each subject (physics and chemistry), 10 questions come from the 11th-grade syllabus, and 40 are from the 12th-grade syllabus.
  • You also have 90 minutes for this paper.
  • Like in Paper 1, there’s no punishment for wrong answers (no negative marking).

Paper 3 – Biology (For Pharmacy Candidates Only):

  • There are 100 questions in this paper.
  • 20 questions are from the 11th-grade biology syllabus, and the remaining 80 are from the 12th-grade syllabus.
  • The time limit is again 90 minutes.
  • Just like the other papers, you won’t lose marks for incorrect answers (no negative marking).
