The Competition Commission of India (CCI) approves acquisition by Lighthouse India Fund III, Limited (Fund III) and Lighthouse India III Employee Trust of Bikaji Foods International Limited under Section 31(1) of the Competition Act, 2002. Lighthouse Funds is a US based company and acts as the sponsor and controls private equity funds that make investments in companies.

India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier Vikrant returns after successful maiden voyage

India’s first indigenous aircraft carrier (IAC) Vikrant returned to the shore after successfully accomplishing its maiden sea voyage. The trials were reviewed by Vice Admiral AK Chawla, Flag Officer Commanding-in-Chief Southern Naval Command. The carrier would undergo a series of 'Sea Trials' to test all its equipment and systems prior to its delivery in 2022.
