England's Eoin Morgan bids adieu to international cricket

England's Eoin Morgan has retired from international cricket with immediate effect.

Morgan, who led England to 50-over World Cup glory in 2019, captained England in a record 126 ODIs and 72 T20s. His 118 wins as skipper across the two formats is also a record. He retires with a slew of records to his name, including most ODI runs for England (6,957).

Pay Roll Automation for Disbursement of Monthly Allowances (PADMA), an automated Pay & Allowances module for the Indian Coast Guard was inaugurated by Rajnish Kumar, Controller General of Defence Accounts (CGDA), Ministry of Defence.

This module has been developed under the aegis of Defense Accounts Department and will be operated by Pay Accounts Office Coast Guard, Noida.

Govt launches e-learning portal 'Dak Karmayogi' to enhance competency of Dak Sevaks and dept employees

‘Dak Karmayogi’, an e-learning portal of the Department of Posts was launched by Communications Minister Ashwini Vaishnav and MoS Communications Devusinh Chauhan in Delhi.

‘Dak Karmayogi’ portal will enhance the competencies of about four lakh Gramin Dak Sevaks and departmental employees.

This portal has been developed under the vision of ‘Mission Karmayogi’.

SEBI provided an additional payment option of UPI or unified payments interface mechanism to retail investors to apply in the public issue of REITs and InvITs for application value up to Rs 5 lakh.

Protean eGov Technologies Ltd (formerly NSDL e-Governance Infrastructure Ltd) & PayNearby have partnered to offer PAN-related services for PayNearby’s retail partners through Aadhaar and biometric or SMS-based OTP authentication for their customers.

Protean accepts and processes PAN applications on behalf of the Income Tax Department, Government of India.

West African states Gabon and Togo join Commonwealth

Gabon and Togo joined the Commonwealth becoming the latest nations with no historic ties to Britain to enter the English-speaking club headed by Queen Elizabeth II.

The 54-nation group of mostly former British colonies accepted Togo and Gabon's application for membership on the final day of its leadership summit in Rwanda.
