Asian Games medallist Anush Agarwalla has secured the first-ever Paris Olympics quota in dressage discipline for the country. He obtained the Paris 2024 quota for the country based on his performance in four FEI events. Agarwalla had clinched India’s first individual bronze at the Asian Games in dressage last year.
An MoU was signed between the Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, and DBS Bank, a prominent financial institution with a strong presence in Asia and Southeast Asia in New Delhi. According to the MoU, DBS Bank aims to support IEPFA's investor awareness activities by disseminating safety messages.

The Investor Education and Protection Fund Authority (IEPFA) was set up on September 7, 2016, under the aegis of the Ministry of Corporate Affairs, Government of India, for administering the Investor Education and Protection Fund for making refunds of shares, unclaimed dividends, and matured deposits/debentures, among other things, to investors.
Indian Renewable Energy Development Agency Ltd. and Punjab National Bank have signed a Memorandum of Understanding aimed at advancing renewable energy initiatives across the nation. It will pave way for joint efforts in co-lending and loan syndication for a diverse spectrum of renewable energy projects.
The MoU comprises various provisions aimed at enhancing support for renewable energy projects. These include joint lending, loan syndication and underwriting, management of Trust and Retention Account (TRA) for IREDA borrowers, and working towards competitive terms of sanction, including pricing on IREDA borrowings.

TVS Mobility and Japanese conglomerate Mitsubishi Corporation on Monday announced a strategic partnership under which the latter will pick up a 32 per cent stake in a newly-formed subsidiary of the Chennai-based group for Rs 300 crore. With this, the dealership business of TVS Mobility will transform into the newly-formed subsidiary TVS Vehicle Mobility Solution (TVS VMS).
The remaining 68 per cent stake in TVS VMS will be held by TVS Mobility.

The Henley Passport Index ranks nations based on the strength of their passports. France leads the list, with its passport granting visa-free access to 194 countries.

Meanwhile, Pakistan maintains its position at 106th place, similar to last year, while Bangladesh has slipped from 101st to 102nd position. The Henley Passport Index derives its rankings from data spanning the past 19 years, based on the International Air Transport Association's (IATA) specialized data, covering 199 different passports and 227 travel destinations worldwide. The latest report on India's most valuable companies, released by Axis Bank's private banking unit Burgundy Private and Hurun India reveals that Reliance Industries (RIL) has for the third year has topped the list, this time followed by Tata Consultancy Services and HDFC Bank. Among emerging companies, the report showed that Suzlon Energy grew at the fastest pace.
The 2023 Burgundy Private and Hurun India 500 report based on records the total market capitalization of Reliance Industries at Rs 15.6 lakh crore, higher than Tata Consultancy Services and HDFC Bank, ranked second and third with a market value of Rs 12.4 lakh crore and Rs 11.3 lakh crore, respectively.
