The 2nd phase of the US-Bangladesh Navy exercise named 'Cooperation Afloat Readiness and Training (CARAT)- 2019' started in Chattogram, Bangladesh. It provides an opportunity to gain a better understanding of the operational activities of both the Navies.
Exercise is being conducted from 4 to 7 November.

The Supreme Court has banned stubble burning in Delhi, Punjab, Haryana and Western Uttar Pradesh in view of severe air pollution. It also banned all construction and demolition activities along with burning of garbage and waste in Delhi-NCR region.
Penalty of 5000 Rs would be imposed for burning garbage & waste.
15-day Aadi Mahotsav, National Tribal festival will be held in New Delhi from 16 November. The theme of the festival is a celebration of the spirit of tribal culture, craft, cuisine & commerce. Tribal artisans from 27 states will participate in the event.

India B lifted the Deodhar Trophy with a comprehensive 51-run win over India C in the final in Ranchi. Shubman Gill- who was captaining India C-became the youngest-known captain to lead a side in the finals of Deodhar Trophy breaking Virat Kohli’s record.
Kohli had captained at the age of 21 while Gill is now at 20.
