ISRO to launch geo imaging satellite GISAT-1 on March 5

According to Indian Space Research Organisation (ISRO) ,GSLV-F10 will launch geo imaging satellite, GISAT-1, from Satish Dhawan Space Centre in Sriharikota on March 5. Weighing about 2,275 kg,GISAT-1 is a state-of-the-art agile Earth observation satellite.

DPIIT notifies policy to allow 100% FDI in insurance intermediaries

The Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) amended the Consolidated Foreign Direct Investment Policy 2017 (FDI Policy) to allow 100 per cent FDI in insurance intermediaries through the automatic route.

CCEA approves Creation of National Technical Textiles Mission

The Cabinet Committee on Economic Affairs (CCEA) approved setting up a national technical textiles mission with a total outlay of Rs 1,480 crore. The mission will have a four-year implementation period from FY 2020-21 to 2023-24.
