The Indian Pharmacopoeia Commission (IPC), Ghaziabad, an autonomous institution under the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India, signed three Memoranda of Understanding (MoUs) with the Bihar State Pharmacy Council, Maharashtra State Pharmacy Council, and Mizoram State Pharmacy Council today at IPC, Ghaziabad.
The MoUs aim to strengthen collaborative efforts between IPC and the State Pharmacy Councils for promoting the rational use of medicines, enhancing pharmacovigilance activities, and advancing patient safety initiatives across the respective states.
As part of the collaboration, the partners will work towards wider dissemination and adoption of the National Formulary of India (NFI) among registered pharmacists to ensure safe, effective, and evidence-based use of medicines. Efforts will also be made to establish NFI as a mandatory reference document in hospital pharmacies across state healthcare facilities.

Ministry of Heavy Industries (MHI), Government of India, organized a National Conference on “Enabling Nationwide EV Charging Infrastructure under PM E-DRIVE Scheme” on 12 May 2026 in Bengaluru.
The Hon’ble Minister announced approval for proposals of Karnataka involving 1,243 EV chargers with an outlay of Rs. 123.26 crore. So far, EV charging proposals with a total financial outlay of Rs. 503.86 crore have been approved, covering the installation of 4,874 EV chargers across various States and CPSEs.
The approved proposals include major CPSEs such as HPCL, IOCL, and BPCL, as well as States including Rajasthan, Andhra Pradesh, Uttar Pradesh, Gujarat, Kerala, Telangana, Karnataka, and Tamil Nadu.
Apart from PM E-DRIVE MHI is running several schemes to promote EVs. These are PLI Auto (Rs 25,938 crores), PLI ACC (18,100 crores), Payment Security Mechanism (Rs. 3,435 crores) and Scheme for Rare earth Magnets (Rs. 7,280 crores)
Under the PM E-DRIVE Scheme, the Government of India has approved a total outlay of Rs. 10,900 crore for promoting electric mobility and supporting EV ecosystem development across multiple segments. The Scheme provides demand incentives and infrastructure support across various vehicle categories and associated components.
Around 24.79 lakh electric two-wheelers (e-2Ws) and approximately 3.16 lakh electric three-wheelers (e-3Ws), including e-rickshaws, e-carts, and L5 category vehicles, are proposed to be supported under the Scheme. In addition, the Scheme envisages support of Rs. 4,391 crore for deployment of over 14,028 electric buses.
Out of the total outlay, Rs. 3,679 crore has been earmarked for demand incentives for e-2Ws, e-3Ws, e-ambulances, e-trucks, and other emerging EV categories.
Rs. 2,000 crore has been earmarked for development of EV Public Charging Infrastructure across the country.
Additionally, Rs. 780 crore has been allocated for modernization and upgradation of vehicle testing agencies under the Ministry of Heavy Industries.
Indian Cyber Crime Coordination Centre (I4C), Ministry of Home Affairs, and Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH) have signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) to strengthen collaboration in combating cyber-enabled financial frauds and curtailing mule accounts across the banking and digital payments ecosystem.
The MoU aims to facilitate cooperation in the areas of fraud-risk intelligence sharing, analytical support, and operational coordination for strengthening proactive fraud detection and prevention mechanisms.
Under the MoU, I4C and RBIH will collaborate for sharing of mule account related intelligence and suspect identifiers from I4C-MHA’s Suspect Registry to strengthen AI-driven fraud detection systems such as MuleHunter.ai™ implemented across banks. RBIH will utilise the datasets for training and enhancement of AI-driven fraud-risk assessment models, including MuleHunter.ai™.

CIPH is a Canadian corporation and a wholly owned subsidiary of CPPIB. CIPH is an investment holding company. CPPIB is a professional investment management organization that manages the Canada Pension Plan Fund. CPPIB invests in public equities, private equities, real estate, infrastructure, and fixed income instruments.

The proposed combination envisages acquisition by Kimberly Clark Corporation (Kimberly) of sole control over Kenvue Inc. (Kenvue) pursuant to an Agreement and Plan of Merger dated 2nd November 2025 entered into, inter alia, by Kimberly and Kenvue.
The Kimberly group is active globally in the production and sale of a range of products made from natural or synthetic fibres and materials using advanced technologies in fibres, nonwovens, and absorbency for personal, business, and industrial use.
Chief Justice of India Surya Kant on May 11, 2026 announced in open court the launch of a major digital initiative — ‘One Case One Data’ — to integrate the judicial administration at every level of courts, from the taluka court to the apex court, into a unified system.
The Chief Justice said the mechanism is aimed at creating a more comprehensive and interconnected digital database across courts.
The CJI also announced the launch of ‘Su Sahay’, an Artificial Intelligence (AI)-powered assistance chatbot integrated with the Supreme Court website to facilitate easier access to justice and court-related services for litigants.
The chatbot has been developed by the National Informatics Centre in collaboration with the Supreme Court Registry, the CJI said.
‘One Case One Data’ is an initiative to streamline case management; ‘Su Sahay’ is an AI-powered chatbot for easier access to court-related services for litigants.
