RBI Retains FY22 GDP Growth Projection At 9.5%; CPI Pegged At 5.3%

The Reserve Bank of India's Monetary Policy Committee (MPC) decided to maintain status quo and keep the repo rate unchanged at 4%. RBI Governor announced that the CPI inflation is projected at 5.3% for the current financial year 2021-22. For the current fiscal 2021-22, GDP growth projection is retained at 9.5%.
