National Education Policy (NEP) 2020: Education Ministry forms committee to draw national curriculum frameworks

The 12-member committee will be chaired by former ISRO chief K Kasturirangan.

The committee will develop four National Curriculum Frameworks - the National Curriculum Framework for School Education, National Curriculum for Early Childhood Care and Education, National Curriculum Framework for Teacher Education, and National Curriculum Framework for Adult Education.

Haryana was adjudged first in the country in installation of off-grid solar pumps under PMKUSUM

Haryana was adjudged first in the country in installation of off-grid solar pumps under Pradhan Mantri Kisan Urja Suraksha Evam Utthan Mahaabhiyaan with installation of 14,418 pumps against 15,000 sanctioned pumps for the year 2020-21.This announcement was made by the Ministry of New & Renewable Energy in the concluding session of 'Azadi ka Amrit Mahotsav'.

Pankaj Advani wins his 24th world title in Doha

Star Indian cueist Pankaj Advani grabbed his 24th world title when he triumphed at the IBSF 6-Red Snooker World Cup with a victory over Pakistan’s Babar Masih in the final.

Advani, who won his 11th Asian title last week, started the final with a comfortable 42-13 win in the opening frame.

Babar drew parity by winning the second 38-14.

Peace Mission-2021: India takes part in SCO joint military exercise in Russia

India participated in the sixth edition of multinational military exercise organised by the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation (SCO) in Russia's Oregon region.
