Indian shooter Saurabh Chaudhary, 16 claimed gold in the Asian Games (AG) 2018. He also set a Games record with his sensational effort. His last two shots were a 10.2 and 10.4, giving him the decisive lead.

Naya Raipur to be named as Atal Nagar

Chhattisgarh is set to name Naya Raipur, the upcoming capital city of the state, as 'Atal Nagar' in memory of former Prime Minister Atal Bihari Vajpayee. His statue will be installed at Naya Raipur as well as in all 27-district headquarters of the state.

Government unveils draft UDAN scheme for international routes

The Centre has unveiled a draft scheme for extending the affordable air travel programme UDAN to international circuits. The draft International Air Connectivity (IAC) scheme envisages to increase the international ticketing to 20 crores by 2027.

AGS Transact Tech files ₹1,000 crore IPO papers with SEBI

Payment solutions provider AGS Transact Technologies has filed preliminary papers with capital markets regulator SEBI to mop-up ₹1,000 crore through an initial public offer. Earlier, It filed initial papers with SEBI in 2015 to raise up to ₹1,350 crore.

UP cabinet okays bill to restore anticipatory bail provisions
