Over 1.49 lakh crore rupees gross Goods and Service, Tax revenue was collected in February. GST revenue collection has registered 12 per cent growth in February in comparison to the same period of the previous financial year. In February 2022, over one lakh 33 thousand crore rupees were collected as GST revenue.
India's top triple-jumper Aishwarya Babu has been banned by the National Anti-Doping Agency's disciplinary panel for four years for using a prohibited anabolic steroid. She had won the triple jump gold in the championships with a national record-breaking lunge of 14.14 metres. NADA said the substance Aishwarya used was an "anabolic steroid" listed under WADA's 2022 banned.

India’s largest private sector bank HDFC announced a partnership with IRCTC to launch “IRCTC HDFC Bank Credit Card” which provides exclusive benefits on bookings through IRCTC website & app, lounge access, besides others. Mumbai-headquartered Axis Bank has completed the acquisition of the India consumer business of the Citigroup-owned foreign bank Citibank for Rs 12,325 crore prior to evaluation of the closing position of Citibank India's assets, assets under management, and liabilities as of January 31, 2023. Post evaluation, the deal is valued at around Rs 11,603 crore.
The Reserve Bank of India launched two key surveys, results of which provide "useful inputs" for the central bank's bi-monthly monetary policy. One of the surveys is to know inflation expectations of households and the other is to gauze the consumer confidence. They are the Inflation Expectations Survey of Households (IESH) Consumer Confidence Survey (CCS).

The government launched the Grievance Appellate Committee (GAC), a faceless dispute resolution mechanism that makes digital platforms, big and small, accountable to DigitalNagriks. The GAC was one of the provisions in the recently amended Information Technology (Intermediary Guidelines and Digital Media Ethics Code) Rules, 2021. Three such bodies have been constituted.

The Union Cabinet has approved procurement of 70 HTT-40 Basic Trainer Aircraft from Hindustan Aeronautics Limited (HAL) for the Indian Air Force (IAF) at a cost of Rs 6,828.36 crore. The aircraft will be supplied over a period of six years. HTT-40 is a turboprop aircraft designed to have good low-speed handling qualities and provide better training effectiveness.

The Indian Air Force (IAF) is participating in the two-day Shinyuu Maitri bilateral exercise with the Japan Air Self-Defence Force (JASDF). The exercise is being organised on the sidelines of the Indo-Japan Joint Army Exercise, Dharma Guardian. Dharma Guardian commenced on February 13 in Komatsu, Japan, and will conclude on March 2.

The matter relates to incorrect input of State code and City code as Sikkim by seven trading members of MCX in the UCC (Unique Client Code) database.
State Bank of India has announced the completion of a $1 billion Syndicated Social Loan Facility. This transaction is significant for SBI and the Indian ESG financing market since it is the largest ESG loan by a commercial bank in the Asia Pacific and the second-largest social loan globally. This is the bank’s inaugural social loan and the first syndicated loan in 5 years.
