State Bank of India (SBI) released its improved digital banking software, ‘YONO for Every Indian,’ as well as Interoperable Cardless Cash Withdrawal (ICCW) services.
According to SBI, YONO has over 6 crore registered users. In FY23, YONO was used to obtain 64 per cent of all savings accounts, or 78.60 lakh accounts.
The Central government notified the appointment of Justice Sheo Kumar Singh as Acting Chairperson of the National Green Tribunal (NGT) till a new Chairperson is appointed.
The appointment was made in light of the retirement of Justice Adarsh Kumar Goel as Chairperson.
He was appointed as Judicial Member of the NGT on March 11, 2020.
Notification was issued by Ministry of Environment, Forest & Climate Change (MoEF&CC).

The Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for setting up of campus of IIT Madras in Zanzibar- Tanzania was signed between the Ministry of Education (MoE), Govt. of India, IIT Madras and Ministry of Education and Vocational Training (MoEVT) Zanzibar- Tanzania. PhonePe announced the launch of its Point-of-sale (POS) device that enables merchants to accept payments via Debit Cards, Credit Cards and UPI, providing them with a simple and seamless settlement experience.

THDC India Limited (THDCIL) has signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) to provide technical services as the technical consultant. Under this agreement, State-owned power producer THDCIL will provide technical services to NHAI.

This year Kashmir saw the highest number of distress calls to the Tele-Manas centre.The initiative will ensure the availability of health counsellors, clinical psychologists and consultants round-the-clock.
