69th National Film Awards: Madhavan's 'Rocketry: The Nambi Effect' wins Best Feature Film

Rocketry: The Nambi Effect, the biographical drama written, produced and directed by R. Madhavan in his directorial debut, won the Best Feature Film award. The National Film Award for best director went to Nikhil Mahajan for Marathi film Godavari.

The Best Actor award went to Allu Arjun for his performance in director Sukumar’s Pushpa: The Rise.

IRDAI lowers minimum capital need for foreign reinsurers to ₹ 50 crore

Insurance regulator Irdai has lowered the minimum capital requirement for foreign re-insurance branches (FRBs) from Rs 100 crore to Rs 50 crore, with the provision to repatriate any excess assigned capital.

It also streamlined the order of preference for international financial services center insurance offices and simplified the format for reinsurance programmes.

RBI Raises Transaction Limit for Small Value Offline Digital Payments to ₹500

The Reserve Bank of India (RBI) raised the transaction limit for small-value digital payments conducted offline to ₹500 per transaction from the earlier ₹200.

It had clarified that while the per transaction limit was being raised to ₹500, the overall limit would be retained at ₹2,000 to contain the risks associated with relaxation of two-factor authentication.

Network Planning Group meeting under PM GatiShakti recommends four infrastructure projects

According to the 54th Network Planning Group (NPG) meeting chaired by special secretary, logistics, Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade, in New Delhi, four key infrastructure projects were examined for early implementation.
