Paytm Payments Bank has announced that it will be temporarily disabling international transactions on debit cards.

In March 2020, Paytm Payments Bank commenced the issuance of Visa debit cards to its clientele. Initially, the company introduced digital cards as part of their service, which later transitioned into physical Visa cards.

India’s first Regional Rapid Transport System (RRTS) will be known as NaMo Bharat, Hardeep Singh Puri said.

India's first semi-high speed regional rail service was flagged off by Prime Minister on the Priority Section of the Delhi-Ghaziabad-Meerut corridor.

The section between Sahibabad & Duhai Depot has five stations -- Sahibabad, Ghaziabad, Guldhar, Duhai and Duhai Depot.

India establishes global standard for combined AC and DC charging connectors for Light EVs

The Bureau of Indian Standards (BIS) has given its approval for the country’s very first domestically developed standard for combined AC and DC charging connectors for light electric vehicles (LEVs), known as IS17017 (Part 2 / Sec 7): 2023.

This is the world’s first charging connector standard for light electric vehicles that can handle both AC and DC charging.

Ladakh-Kaithal power transmission line get Rs 20,774 crore approval from government

The government recently approved the establishment of a transmission line costing Rs 20,773.70 crore to transport solar power from a 13 GW renewable energy project in Ladakh to Kaithal in Haryana.

This initiative aligns with Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s earlier announcement of a 7.5 GW solar park in Ladakh.

PTC India said, "PTC India in its Board Meeting approved the bid submitted by ONGC Ltd for the acquisition of a wholly owned subsidiary of PTC India Limited i.e. PTC Energy Limited (PEL) at an equity value of ₹925 cr.

ICMR completes clinical trials of world’s first injectable male contraceptive

The Indian Council of Medical Research (ICMR) completed the clinical trials of the world’s first injectable male contraceptive which showed that it is safe and highly efficacious without any serious side effects.

The findings of the phase-III clinical trial, which involved 303 candidates aged 25-40 years, were published in the international open-access Andrology journal.
