India to take back helicopters gifted to Maldives

India is preparing to bring back the two helicopters it had gifted to the Maldives, in a sign that it is hoping to use dialogue as the way forward in resolving issues with Male.

Helicopters were gifted in 2013 and the agreement operated by Indian Coast Guard has expired earlier this year.

SC seeks plan to eradicate leprosy

SC has directed the government to constitute a separate wing devoted to create and extend public awareness that leprosy is curable.

Law Commission of India has finalized its Report No.256 titled “Leprosy Affected Persons and the Laws applicable to them”.

Railways to accept Aadhaar, driving licence copies in DigiLocker as valid ID proofs

Railways will now accept soft copies of Aadhaar and driving licence in DigiLocker

as valid proof of identity.

It has also tied up with CBSE to provide digital versions of marksheets and can also integrate their PAN.

India to hold maritime dialogues with China, Russia to discuss Indo-Pacific policy

India will discuss its Indo-Pacific policy with China in second maritime dialogue at Beijing.

The partners in ASEAN (Association of South East Asian Nations) and East African countries on the rim of the Indian Ocean had also concerns on Indo-Pacific policy.

Tax hikes expected to help govt. rake in ₹3,000 crore a year

3 M.P. cities to raise funds through municipal bonds
