Moody's cuts India's GDP growth forecast to 5.6% for 2019

Moody's Investors lowered 2019 GDP growth forecast for India to 5.6% as slow employment growth weighs on consumption. It expects economic growth to pick up in 2020 & 2021 to 6.6% & 6.7% respectively but sees the pace of growth remaining lower than past.

Pakistan signs pact with World Bank for financing Khyber Pass Economic Corridor project

Isl Pakistan & World Bank has signed a project agreement worth $406.6 million for financing the Khyber Pass Economic Corridor (KPEC) project with an aim to promote economic development. The project is aimed at constructing a 48km 4-lane, dual carriageway.

First time digital 7th Economic Census: to be completed by March 2020
