The Pradhan Mantri Jan Arogya Yojana (PMJAY) health insurance scheme is set to offer teleconsultation services to its patients. It is due to the centre’s plans to widen the coverage of the scheme and thus reduce health expenditures.
Ayushman Bharat will offer teleconsultation by 2022.

Asian Development Bank sharply cut India’s growth forecast to 6.5 % for the fiscal year 2020.According to the Asian Development Outlook (ADO) report, economic growth was slowed to 5% in the first April-June quarter.
