India extends $ 1 billion Line of Credit to Central Asia for connectivity & other development projects

India announced an additional $ 1 billion Line of Credit for Central Asian countries to widen connectivity and energy partnership among other sectors at the meeting of India-Central Asia Dialogue held virtually with participation of Afghanistan.

ISRO to launch Earth Observation Satellite EOS-1 and 9 Customer Satellites

India would launch its latest earth observation satellite EOS-01 and nine international customer spacecraft onboard its PSLV-C49 rocket from the spaceport of Sriharikota. EOS-01 is intended for applications in agriculture, forestry, & disaster management.

Arvind Kejriwal launches ‘Green Delhi’ app to address pollution complaints

Citizens can click pictures/ make a video of pollution causing activities, such as burning of garbage, and upload them on the application. The app will identify the location and the complaint will be automatically forwarded to the concerned department.

8000MW renewable park to light up India-Pak border areas in Rajasthan

Rajasthan will soon ink an MoU with National Thermal Power Corporation (NTPC) and Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI) to establish Ultra Mega Renewal Energy Power Park with 8,000 megawatts capacity in India’s border areas with Pakistan in Rajasthan.

RBI to buy state bonds in open market for the second time

RBI will aim to purchase Rs 10,000 crore worth of bonds issued by more than a dozen state governments known as State Development Loans in market parlance for the second time. Earlier the RBI conducted the first ever such OMOs on October 22.

RBI imposes monetary penalty on DCB Bank, Jio Payments Bank for rule violations

RBI has imposed a penalty of Rs 22 lakh on DCB Bank for non-compliance with certain provisions on marketing/distribution of mutual fund/insurance etc. In the case of Jio Payments Bank, the RBI imposed a penalty of Rs 1 crore.
