Indian Navy conducts Offshore Sailing Regatta from Kochi to Goa

Indian Navy is conducting an Offshore Sailing Regatta under aegis of Indian Naval Sailing Association, INSA. 6 Indian Naval Sailing Vessels Mhadei, Tarini, Bulbul, Neelkanth, Kadalpura & Hariyal will participate in event. Race is scheduled to start this month & would cover an approximate distance of 360 nautical miles between the start point at Naval Base, Kochi to Goa.

Defence Ministry signs contract worth Rs 423 Cr with US for procurement of Arms for Indian Navy

Defence Ministry has signed a contract with the US Government under Foreign Military Sale (FMS) for procurement of MK 54 Torpedo and Expendable Chaff and Flares for the Indian Navy. These weapons are the outfit of P-8I Aircraft which is used for Long range Maritime Surveillance, Anti-Submarine Warfare and Anti-Surface Warfare.

Government notifies Indian Telegraph Right of Way (Amendment) Rules, 2021

Poland now recognizes Covishield as a vaccine equivalent to those recognized by the EU. South Korea launches its first homegrown space rocket

South Korea has launched its first homegrown rocket, stepping up the country's ambitions in space. The Korean Satellite Launch Vehicle II, known as Nuri, took off from Goheung, about 500km south of Seoul.
