International Day for the Elimination of Violence Against Women is celebrated every year on November 25. According to the United Nations (UN), violence against women and girls manifests in several forms.

The Declaration on the Elimination of Violence Against Women was issued by the UN General Assembly in 1993.

NASA launches asteroid-deflecting DART spacecraft

The world’s first planetary defense system called the DART spacecraft was successfully launched by NASA from the Vandenberg US Space Force Base. It was carried aboard SpaceX’s Falcon 9 rocket.

The DART spacecraft was built by the Johns Hopkins Applied Physics Laboratory in Maryland at the direction of NASA’s Planetary Defense Coordination Office.

Tashkent to host 2025 Asian Youth Para Games

The Asian Paralympic Committee (APC) has announced that Tashkent, Uzbekistan will host the 2025 Asian Youth Para Games.

The 2021 edition of the Asian Youth Para Games will take place shortly in Bahrain from December 2-6, 2021.

The decision was taken by the APC’s executive board following a bidding process

Sheikh Sabah Al Khaled Al Hamad Al Sabah has been appointed the new Prime Minister of Kuwait.

Sheikh Sabah also served as Kuwait’s Ambassador to Saudi Arabia and Envoy at the Organisation of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) from 1995 to 1998.
