Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh, Y S Jagan Mohan Reddy was elected president for lifetime of Yuvajana Sramika Rythu Congress party YSRC.
Mr Jagan established the YSRC in March 2011 after quitting Congress. Ever since, he has been continuing as the party president, with his mother Vijayamma as honorary president.
Mr Jagan was last elected the YSRC president at the party plenary in 2017.
The Telangana government aims to ensure Rs 3,700 crore credit flow to women self help groups (SHGs) through "Stree Nidhi" during the current financial year as against Rs 3,060 crore last fiscal.
Over the last eight years, Rs 14,756.85 crore to the SHGs for setting up businesses such as kirana shops, laundry, poultry farms and bakeries.

Ranil Wickremesinghe announced his resignation as Prime Minister of Sri Lanka to make way for an all-party government to take over in the country. He will resign after an all-party government is established and the majority is secured in Parliament. Mr. Wickremesinghe will continue as Prime Minister until then.
