Parliament passes New Delhi International Arbitration Centre (Amendment) Bill, 2022

Parliament has passed the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre (Amendment) Bill, 2022 with Rajya Sabha approving it unanimously. Lok Sabha has already passed the Bill. The Bill amends the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre Act, 2019. The Bill renames the New Delhi International Arbitration Centre as the India International Arbitration Centre.

ADB keeps India's GDP growth unchanged at 7%

The Indian economy is set to grow at 7 per cent, said the Asian Development Bank (ADB) as it kept its outlook for India's economic growth unchanged for the ongoing fiscal year. For 2023-24, the GDP growth has been kept unchanged at 7.2 per cent. ADB sees Asia expanding at 4.2 per cent this year before accelerating to 4.6 per cent in 2023.

SBI board approves raising of Rs 10,000 crore capital via bonds

State Bank of India (SBI) said its board has approved Rs 10,000 crore capital raising plan through Tier I bonds.
