India becomes the 13th nation to issue OIML certificates

India has become the Internationally Accepted OIML (International Organization of Legal Metrology) Certificates Issuing Authority, Consumer Affairs Ministry announced.

India is the 13th country in the world that can issue the OIML approval certificates.

OIML’s Headquarters- Paris, France.

The Ministry will have a dedicated cell for issuance of the certificate.

PM Modi lays foundation stone; BPCL plans Rs 49,000 cr petrochem-refinery project at Bina

PM Narendra Modi laid foundation stone of petrochemical complex and refinery expansion project at Bharat Petroleum Corp Ltd’s Bina refinery in Madhya Pradesh.

The refinery will be developed at a cost of about Rs 49,000 crore, and will produce about 1,200 kilo tonne per annum of ethylene and propylene, component for various sectors like textiles, packaging and pharma.
