Union Cabinet approved creation of National Bench of the Appellate Tribunal for GST .It will be situated at Delhi & will consist of President and 1 Technical Member (Centre) & 1 Technical Member (State) at an expenditure of Rs.92.50 Lakhs.
The GST Act came into effect on 1st July 2017.

Cabinet approved MoU between India and Kuwait for cooperation on the Recruitment of Domestic Workers. It will help around 3 lakh Indian domestic workers deployed in Kuwait. A Joint Committee will be set up for the implementation of this MOU.

ISRO is set to put into space a 130-kg military imaging satellite, Microsat-R in a polar orbit 247 km away from surface of earth. Microsat-R and its payload are assembled from laboratories of the DRDO and is meant for military use.
PSLV is a Medium-lift launch vehicle developed by ISRO.
Russell Baker, the Pulitzer Prize winning writer who penned thousands of columns for The New York Times, and hosted the PBS television program "Masterpiece Theatre," passed away. He was 93.
He won the Pulitzer Prize for commentary in 1979.
