India Ratings Lowers India’s GDP Growth Projection to 7.3% For 2019-20

India Ratings & Research has lowered the country’s growth forecast for the current fiscal to 7.3 %, from the earlier projection of 7.5 % for the fiscal year 2019-2020.

Chandrayaan-2 to be Launched in July

India's second lunar mission Chandrayaan-2 will be launched on a day between 9 and 16 July this year. Its lander will touch down near the Moon's south pole on 6th September. It will have 3 modules in it- an orbiter, a lander “Vikram” and a rover “Pragyan”

April GST Collections Highest Since Rollout

The Goods and Services Tax (GST) collection in April touched ₹1.13 lakh crore, the highest since the nationwide levy was rolled out in July 2017. The revenue in April is 16% higher than the monthly average GST revenue of ₹98,114 crore in 2018-19.
