The 12-day joint military exercise named KAZIND-2019 between India and Kazakhstan has begun in Pithoragarh. The aim of the exercise was to conduct company level joint training with an emphasis on counter-terrorism operations in mountainous terrain.

UP CM flagged off the country's 1st corporate train Lucknow-Delhi Tejas Express. Acc. to IRCTC, the passengers will get a refund of ₹ 100 in case the train gets delayed for 1 hour. If the delay is of more than 2 hours then the refund amount will be ₹ 250.
