World Day of Remembrance for Road Traffic Victims was started by RoadPeace in 1993.On 26 Oct 2005, the UN-endorsed it as a global day to be observed every 3rd Sunday in Nov each year, making it a major advocacy day for road traffic injury prevention.

India successfully test-fired the all-weather Quick Reaction Surface to Air Missile (QRSAM) air defence system. It was tested from the Balasore flight test range. QRSAM is capable of providing air defence on the move and has a range of 30 km.
The first trial of the QRSAM was conducted on 4 June 2017.
Nirmala Sitharaman announced 12 key stimulus measures to boost the economy. These measures announced under Atma Nirbhar Bharat 3.0 will provide a boost to employment, agriculture, infrastructure, manufacturing, housing and R&D of Covid-19 vaccine in India.
These stimulus measures cumulatively amount to 15% of the GDP.
Lonar Lake in Maharashtra, which was formed by a meteorite impact about 50,000 years ago, has been declared as a wetland area under 'Ramsar Convention'. It has been declared as the 41st place in the country and 2nd ‘Ramsar site’ in Maharashtra.
