Manipur launches mobile app for delivering veggies at home

Chief Minister, N Biren Singh has launched MOMA Market mobile application for home delivery of fresh vegetables.

The application can be downloaded from  www.momamarket.com and it will also be available on Google Play Store soon.

The application was introduced by Manipur Organic Mission Agency (MOMA),Department of Horticulture and Soil Conservation, Manipur.

Zensar Technologies signs agreement to acquire US-based M3bi

RPG company Zensar Technologies has entered into a definitive agreement to acquire M3bi, an Arizona-based data, and digital engineering firm.

Zensar Technologies Ltd will acquire the entire share capital of M3bi Private Limited (“M3bi India"), and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Zensar Technologies Inc., will acquire the entire share capital of M3bi LLC.

CCI approves sale of YES Bank's MF subsidiaries to GPL Finance

Fair trade regulator Competition Commission of India (CCI) approved the acquisition of Yes Asset Management (India) Ltd and Yes Trustee Limited by GPL Finance and Investments Ltd.

The proposed combination envisages the acquisition of 100 per cent equity shares of the two entities by GPL.

GPL Finance is a non-deposit-taking & non-systemically important NBFC.

Railways set to have 86 Oxygen plants for its hospitals across country

The Railways will soon have 86 Oxygen plants for its hospitals across the country. Four oxygen plants are already functional, 52 have been sanctioned and 30 are under various stages of processing.

There is also a Massive Capacity Enhancement in 86 Railway Hospitals across India.

In last few days, the number of beds for COVID treatment have been increased from 2539 to 6972

Govt releases Rs 5,968 crore to 15 states under Jal Jeevan Mission

The Government has released Rs 5,968 crore to 15 states for the implementation of the Jal Jeevan Mission in the financial year 2021-22.

Of the central funds allocated under the Jal Jeevan Mission, 93 percent is to be utilized on developing water supply infrastructure, 5 per cent on support activities and 2 percent on water quality monitoring and surveillance.

IISc researchers identify new blood-based biomarker to distinguish between bacterial and viral infections

An Indian Institute of Science (IISc) study has identified a set of molecular biomarkers that can be used in the differential diagnosis of acute bacterial and viral infections.

These biomarkers are different messenger RNA (mRNA) molecules found in the blood; differences in their levels can detect and predict with high probability if an infection is viral or bacterial.
