Microsoft Launches Program To Support AI Startups In India

Microsoft recently announced the launch of Microsoft AI Innovate, a 10-week initiative that will support startups in India leveraging Artificial Intelligence (AI) technologies, helping them scale operations, drive innovation, & build industry expertise.

The program will also enable startups to reach out to newer customers and geographies with Microsoft’s sales and partners.

NPCI launches NTS platform for tokenization of RuPay cards

National Payments Corporation of India (NPCI) announced the launch of the NPCI Tokenization System (NTS) that will support tokenization of cards as an alternative to storing card details with merchants.

The NPCI Tokenization System will support the tokenization of RuPay cards to further enhance the safety of customers and provide a seamless shopping experience.

BSNL receives license to operate Inmarsat’s world-leading Global Xpress satellite communications services in India

Inmarsat confirmed that its strategic partner BSNL has received the necessary licenses to deliver Inmarsat’s world-leading Global Xpress (GX) mobile broadband services in India.

Under BSNL’s Inflight and Maritime Connectivity (IFMC) licence from the Department of Telecommunications, GX will be available to Indian customers across government, aviation and maritime.

Piyush Goyal inaugurates 250mm seer water supply project in Kashmir

Union commerce &industry minister Piyush Goyal inaugurated a 250mm seer water supply scheme in Kashmir, concluding his two-day trip to Pahalgam in the Valley as part of the public outreach programme of the BJP led Union government.

The project is aimed to benefit nearly 10,000 people & will be completed within 3 months under the ambit of Jal Jeevan Mission.

Union Minister Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurates ‘Ayush Van’ in Gujarat’s Gandhidham

Union Minister for AYUSH Sarbananda Sonowal inaugurated Ayush Van, a dedicated forest for Ayurvedic plants in a program held at the Deendayal Port Trust (DPT)- Rotary Forest in Gandhidham area of Gujarat’s Kutch.

Ayush Van was set up in 30 acres of land allotted by DPT in a green-belt area where tree plantation is being done to improve greenery in the urban areas.

Parambikulam Tiger Conservation Foundation has won the Earth Guardian Award for its efforts in supporting the conservation of tigers and biodiversity. The award was instituted by NatWest Group India (formerly RBS India) at the 11th edition of the NatWest Group Earth Heroes Awards.
