Veteran journalist Vinod Dua passed away recently. He was 67. His daughter Dua confirmed it on a social media post. Vinod Dua, one of the pioneers in Hindi broadcast journalism, worked with Doordarshan to present youth programme Yuva Manch in the mid-'70s and later with several other television news channels. He was awarded Padma Shri in 2008.
Minister of State for Electronics and IT Rajeev Chandrasekhar on Friday launched the first indigenous server, Rudra, developed by the Centre for Development of Advanced Computing (C-DAC) under the National Supercomputing Mission (NSM).
The server design can be used for manufacturing classical standalone commercial server.
India has reversed its decision to pull out its hockey teams from next year’s Birmingham Commonwealth Games and will compete in the multi-sport quadrennial event “if they qualify”, as per Commonwealth Games Federation.

Tata Power Company said that its wholly owned subsidiary Tata Power Solar Systems has received Letter of Award (LoA) from Solar Energy Corporation of India (SECI).
