Naveen Srivastava appointed as next Ambassador of India to Nepal

India announced the appointment of Naveen Srivastava, currently additional secretary in the external affairs ministry, as the next ambassador to Nepal.

Srivastava will succeed Vinay Kwatra, who became foreign secretary this month, as the envoy to Kathmandu.

SJVN to develop hydel 490 MW Arun-4 power project worth Rs 4,900 crore in Nepal

State-owned SJVN Ltd will develop another hydro power project Arun-4 worth Rs 4,900 crore in Nepal.

A Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) for the development of the 490 MW Arun-4 hydro electric project in Nepal has been signed in Lumbini, Nepal in the presence of Prime Minister Narendra Modi and Prime Minister of Nepal Sher Bahadur Deuba.

BSE appoints Ex RBI Deputy Guv SS Mundra as Chairman

BSE Limited announced that it has approved the appointment of SS Mundra, Public Interest Director as the Chairman of the board of directors of the company. Mundra will replace Justice Vikramajit Sen who is the current chairman.

Mundra was appointed as Public Interest Director at BSE in January 2018. He retired as Deputy Governor of Reserve Bank of India on 30th July 2017.
