Ireland All-Rounder Kevin O'Brien Announces Retirement From International Cricket

Ireland all-rounder Kevin O'Brien, remembered in the world of cricket for his whirlwind century against England in the 2011 ICC World Cup, which helped the Irish pull off one of the biggest upsets in 50-over cricket, has announced his retirement from international cricket.

He scored in 5850 runs in international cricket and picked up 172 wickets.

The full gear of the Future Infantry Soldier as a System (F-INSAS) includes an AK-203 assault rifle, which is a Russian-origin gas-operated, magazine-fed, select-fire assault rifle. The units of the rifle will be manufactured by an India-Russia joint venture. The rifle has a range of 300 metres.

Wholesale price-based inflation declines to 13.93% in July compared to 15.18% in preceding month

Wholesale price-based inflation, WPI eased to 13.93 per cent in July as compared to 15.18 per cent in preceding month. According to the Commerce and Industry Ministry, WPI inflation fell on easing prices of food articles and manufactured products. The Wholesale inflation was at a record high of 15.88 per cent in May this year and stood at 11.57 per cent in July last year.

Defence forces, RBI and Prime Minister's Office most trusted institutions, says survey

Defence forces, RBI and Prime Minister of India are the three most trusted institutions in the country, according to a survey by Ipsos India. The Supreme Court of India came fourth and it was followed by CBI. Defence Forces with at least 2 in 3 (65 per cent of respondents) reposing faith in them was ranked first, followed by Reserve Bank of India with 1 in 2 (50 per cent).
